Press Line Operator

We're seeking a skilled Press Line Operator to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain a large format steel rule die Press Line, producing precision parts to customer specifications. If you have die-cutting experience and take pride in producing consistent, high-quality output, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Start up, set up, operate, troubleshoot, and remedy issues on the Press Line to meet production needs and goals
- Load bulk rolls onto the unwind station to feed through the Press Line
- Install and remove steel rule dies from the press
- Create a "Make Ready" template when installing a die to ensure even blade pressure at impact
- Closely monitor each part produced to ensure no defects are palletized
- Ensure product is properly palletized and packaged to company standards
- Perform and document Quality Control checks, correcting any out-of-spec issues
- Read and execute production schedules efficiently to maximize product quality
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- Die-cutting industry experience a plus
- Tow motor experience
- Experience reading measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, tape measure, etc.)
- Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools to set up and operate the press
- Ability to lift and carry 50–100 lbs (over 50 lbs with an assist)
- Strong adherence to company policies and safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual attendance
- Forklift certification and basic computer skills a plus
Physical Requirements
- Regular use of hands for fingering, handling, or feeling; frequent reaching, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs, and occasionally lift/move over 100 lbs
- Close, distance, color, and peripheral vision; depth perception; ability to adjust focus
