The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of The Ice Plant kitchen. This position ensures that all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored to support seamless service and uphold the restaurant’s high standards of quality and presentation.
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dish machines and manual cleaning methods.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area, kitchen floors, and trash/recycling stations.
Assist kitchen staff with basic prep tasks and equipment cleaning as needed.
Follow all sanitation and safety procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
Ensure clean items are properly stored and easily accessible to chefs, bartenders, and servers.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the manager on duty.
Support closing and opening duties as assigned to ensure a clean, organized kitchen.
