Construction Project Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee construction projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will manage budgets,
schedules, subcontractors, and stakeholder communication to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and on-site labor, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and purchase orders
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations (OSHA), and permitting requirements
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues
Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and daily reports
Identify and mitigate project risks; proactively resolve delays or budget overruns
Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates to leadership and clients
Coordinate with estimating and procurement teams during bidding and material sourcing
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
[5]+ years of experience managing commercial/residential/industrial construction projects
Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera)
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
OSHA 30 certification preferred
PMP certification a plus
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites
Physical Requirements
Ability to visit active construction sites, including uneven terrain and areas with ongoing work
Occasionally lift up to [X] lbs
Comfortable wearing required PPE (hard hat, safety vest, steel-toe boots)
