Our Mobile Health Nurse Practitioners perform in-home visits for clinical trial participants. The scheduling is PRN/casual/ occasional, without any weekly hours commitment. No clinical trials or home health experience is required as we train you up and pay you your hourly rate for 5 hours of training. Strong independent clinical skills, detail-orientedness, and a desire to help contribute to science will make you an excellent candidate for this position. Ability to also function as a RN with strong and current phlebotomy skills is needed. Our first visit will take place at your convenience between August 19 and 22; availability to train quickly and complete the visit by these dates is necessary.
This study involves seeing an adult research participant in their home in the Knoxville, TN area, performing a blood draw, and conducting a physical exam. We will provide remote support during the visits. We pay for your time in the home as well as time traveling to/from the visit and mileage.
Once you are part of our workforce, we will offer you additional opportunities in this area if they arise. Some weekday day shift availability is required, but the visit schedule is sporadic, with each participant being seen approximately every 2-4 weeks over the course of 32 weeks. There may be only a few participants in this area, and hours are occasional and with no ongoing commitment besides the visits you agree to schedule with us, this is a great opportunity for a casual side gig.
