Job title: DSD Shipping Supervisor
Job location: City of Industry, CA
Schedule: Mon-Fri | 1st Shift
Pay range: $60,000–$65,000
Job description:
- Supervise daily DSD shipping activities and personnel.
- Ensure customer orders are picked, palletized, staged, loaded, and shipped accurately and on schedule.
- Coordinate daily shipping schedules with transportation, warehouse, and customer service teams.
- Monitor workflow and allocate labor resources to meet operational demands.
- Ensure compliance with all company SOPs and shipping procedures.
- Coordinate outbound shipments with carriers and transportation providers.
- Verify shipping documentation, bills of lading, manifests, and load sheets.
- Ensure route sequencing aligns with delivery schedules and customer requirements.
- Monitor trailer utilization and loading efficiency.
- Resolve shipment discrepancies and transportation issues.
- Investigate and resolve shipping-related inventory discrepancies.
- Stay informed about store delivery requirements and constraints.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of warehouse/logistics/distribution experience
- Supervisory experience in shipping or warehouse operations
- Knowledge of DSD operations, transportation coordination, inventory control, and DOT compliance.
- Experience with WMS and Excel
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred
Pay: $70,304.00 per year
