Forsgate Country Club is looking for enthusiastic and experienced Bartenders for its poolside Tiki Bar. Prior experience is REQUIRED and applicants 18 years of age will only be considered. This position is for weekends only (Saturdays and Sundays) and the hours are from 12:00 pm - 7:00pm.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong knowledge of different types of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food service regulations and health codes.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry, catering, brewing, or food service is required.
