May float to Moakley OR or other OR campuses as needed. Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join a busy Level I Trauma Operating Room. This role supports a high-volume surgical team across multiple specialties in a fast-paced, 24/7 hospital environment. Candidates must be flexible to work rotating 12-hour shifts, participate in call, weekends, holidays, and float to other OR campuses as needed. Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments.
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during a wide variety of surgical procedures.
- Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment before, during, and after procedures.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary surgical team.
Requirements
- NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Required (no other certification accepted)
- BLS Certification – Required
- Minimum 3 years of inpatient Operating Room experience
- Level I Trauma experience is required
- Must be proficient in at least 5 of the following specialties:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Neurosurgery
- Vascular
- Cardiac
- Thoracic
- Spine
- Robotics
- GYN
- GU
- ENT (OTO)
- Bariatrics
- Plastics
- Podiatry
- Pediatrics
- Trauma
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a positive, flexible attitude.
