Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the state of Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience working with students in school settings (K-4 preferred)
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
- SLP Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFs) are not eligible for this position
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic assessments and direct speech therapy services for K-4th grade students
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers to develop and implement IEPs
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals, reporting results to families and staff
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized planning
- Deliver therapy services in both individual and small-group settings
- Utilize evidence-based practices to address a full spectrum of speech and language disorders
