Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring clarity and efficiency
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items including specialty cocktails, wines, spirits, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process sales using POS systems, and manage credit card payments with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments would be desired but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cashiering, sales transaction processing, and cash handling responsibilities
