Illinois Valley Economic Development Corporation is seeking an immediate hire for a Recycling Supervisor at our Community Day Services Program. This program offers adults with disabilities the opportunity to earn income through our cardboard recycling program in Jerseyville. The primary function of the Recycling Supervisor is to ensure that cardboard is processed on a daily basis. Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for daily cardboard pick-up from local businesses.
- Will oversee cardboard baling and arrange shipping to mill.
- Will maintain shop equipment and program vehicles.
- Will support other work programs with adults with developmental disabilities.
- Will maintain work program contracts.
Qualifications:
- DSP certification is preferred, but not required. We will train the right individual.
- Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Experience in the maintenance/inspections of agency vehicles/equipment.
- Forklift Certification preferred.
- Must be 21 years old.
- Possess a high school diploma/GED.
- Possess a valid driver's license, CDL preferred.
- Must be able to pass background and drug test.
