Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bridal Seamstress to join our team. Experience in bridal and formal is required. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and an eye for detail, capable of producing high-quality garment alterations. Sewing on-site is required.
Duties
- Operate sewing machines and other equipment to construct garments according to specifications.
- Perform alterations and repairs on various types of clothing, ensuring a perfect fit for customers.
- Collaborate with customers in fittings to understand their design preferences and provide recommendations based on garment construction techniques. Pin appropriately and sew what was pinned.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available.
Qualifications
- 10+ years proficiency in operating sewing machines and bridal/formal alterations.
- Strong sewing skills with attention to detail in finishing techniques.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
