Associate VeterinarianPosition Overview
Milpitas Pet Clinic is seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to join our collaborative team. We are looking for someone who values high-quality medicine, communicates clearly with clients, and treats every patient with care and respect.
This position offers a varied caseload that includes preventive medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, radiology, and urgent care. You will work closely with our veterinary technicians, support staff, and fellow veterinarians to provide excellent care while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace.

We value continued learning and can provide exposure to surgery, dentistry, urgent care, acupuncture, and integrative veterinary medicine based on the associate’s interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnose medical conditions
- Develop and communicate appropriate treatment plans
- Provide preventive and wellness care
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and other treatments
- Perform surgical and dental procedures based on experience and comfort level
- Interpret diagnostic testing and radiographic studies
- Provide urgent care for sick or injured patients
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical records
- Educate clients about preventive care, nutrition, treatment options, and long-term health
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff
- Participate in continuing education and remain current with developments in veterinary medicine
What We’re Looking For
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) degree
- Active California veterinary license or eligibility to obtain one
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to veterinary care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Compensation
$120,000–$200,000 per year, based on experience, schedule, and production.
