As a Restoration Technician at MGM Recovery, you will:
- Perform water extraction and mold remediation.
- Carefully move and re-set contents with attention to detail.
- Conduct moisture mapping with temperature, humidity, and moisture content readings.
- Deploy air movers and drying equipment.
- Conduct selective demolition to facilitate the drying process.
- Bag up debris removal.
Additionally, you will:
- Participate in quarterly safety meetings and fit tests.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Act as a "team lead" occasionally, as determined by your manager.
- Ensure compliance with all MGM Recovery policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification (preferred, not required).
- IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) certification (preferred, not required).
- Familiarity with chemical products, construction/restoration, and safety data sheets.
- Ability to work within a team or individually as needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when requested.
- Clean driving record (mandatory)
