About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Clean Room Assembler (Product Builder) to support the manufacturing of orthopedic implants and instruments. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality and patient safety while maintaining compliance with all quality policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble orthopedic implants and instruments following established procedures and specifications.
- Perform manual assembly tasks using small hand tools such as pliers, tweezers, and similar instruments.
- Conduct visual inspections, including under a microscope, to ensure product quality.
- Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet required standards and specifications.
- Maintain a cleanroom-compliant workspace, adhering to gowning and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in medical device manufacturing (preferred).
- Mandatory experience working in a cleanroom environment, including proper gowning procedures.
- Experience with manual assembly and use of small hand tools (e.g., tweezers, pliers).
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle small, delicate components.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Basic understanding of quality control processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working under a microscope (highly desirable).
- Prior experience with orthopedic implants or medical device assembly.
- Catheter assembly experience (highly transferable).
- Experience in visual inspection under magnification.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and ISO standards.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
