ExtraMile Convenience Stores LLC is a joint venture owned by Chevron and Jacksons Food Stores. The ExtraMile Franchise is currently made up of more than 1,000 convenience stores in California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and Nevada. The growth of the Company has resulted in opportunities to expand the ExtraMile brand within the current footprint, as well as to other states – resulting in exciting new employment opportunities.
We are currently seeking a JDA Floor Planning Specialist. This position requires Mandatory - Advanced skills in Blue Yonder/JDA’s Floor Planning and Data Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Create store specific data driven fact-based Store Layouts for the ExtraMile Convenience Stores’ franchisees.
- Optimize the use of JDA’s Floor Planning, Category Knowledgebase, Open Access and Web Publisher applications and related processes.
- Drive improvements, efficiencies, and expertise in JDA application usage, functionality, database management and reporting.
- Develop merchandising store layouts using standards, business rules, best practices and C-Store shopper insights and analytics to ensure the most effective product placement, space allocation and customer flow.
- Deliver franchise value and a completive point of difference through best-in-class merchandising insights, layouts, planograms and assortment planning processes and support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Skills/Qualifications:
- A Bachelors’ Degree in a related field
- 3+ years of experience in merchandising space management or advanced consumer/category /retail analytics preferably in the convenience channel. The candidate must also have documented experience using JDA Floor Planning.
- Intermediate/advanced skills desired: JDA Space Planning, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong analytical skills and highly detail oriented
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills (group, written and oral).
