Case Press Operator
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Assuring work area is safe.
- Performing the various operations of the press department.
- Set up, run and make any adjustment needed to produce a quality part.
- Put coils of steel through straightener and press/tool and at times to change coils of material and tools.
- Read and follow router.
- Fill out maintenance requests as needed.
- Pick up bins of parts with maximum weight of 35 lbs. (from storage shelf and placed on cart at workstation).
- Check parts coming off press by using comparator or smart scope.
- Visually check parts throughout the production run to ensure there are no visible defect which includes but not limited to (burrs, broken nail marks, Chipped stamps, broken piercing punches).
- Ensure stamps on parts match router.
- Move bins to another department as needed.
- Write quantities on the crewing guide.
- Maintain adherence to safety initiatives while working in respective area in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area during and upon completion of jobs and at the end of the shift.
- Follow all quality control plans snf fill out any quality control forms to process acceptable parts.
- Responsible for cleanliness of the work area during and upon his or her completion of jobs.
- Take instructions from supervisors and assist Engineering/Quality departments as needed.
- Communicate any issues with supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of W.R. Case Job/Safety Orientation
- Passing score on level 40 test.

Physical Requirements:
- Standing: Able to stand for extended periods of times at machines.
- Sitting: As required by operation.
- Moving: Normal, able to move throughout the department as required by operation.
- Lifting: Minimal, up to 35 pounds. Lifting of trays with various components.
- Pushing/Pulling: As required by operation.
- Visual Acuity: Normal and/or corrected vision for inspection of work /components.
- Bending/Stooping: Normal, minimal.
Safety equipment required- Safety glasses and hearing protection.
This is a second shift (3pm-11pm), manufacturing hourly position located in Bradford, PA
