In-Home Sales Consultant / Estimator
Position Type: Full-time, 1099 Independent Contractor
Compensation: Uncapped Commission + Paid Training Phase
Expected Earnings: $75,000 - $130,000 / year (Performance-based)
We are a rapidly growing local residential home services company dedicated to premium quality and seamless customer experiences. We are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated In-Home Sales Consultant to handle incoming customer estimates and actively build a local neighborhood pipeline.
No previous industry experience is required. If you have high energy, thick skin, and a track record of thriving in performance-based roles (such as hospitality, cellular sales, or automotive sales), we will fully train you on our systems.
The Role & Responsibilities
You focus entirely on building relationships and closing contracts. Once a job is sold, you hand it off to our production team - you do not manage crews or project operations.
- Run Warm Company Leads: Show up on time to pre-scheduled, inbound estimate requests provided directly by the company (6% – 7.5% commission structure).
- Neighborhood Marketing (D2D): Actively generate high-commission outbound leads by introducing our services to adjacent homeowners surrounding our active local job sites (10% – 12% commission structure).
- Pipeline Management: Utilize our simple digital tracking tools to follow up with open estimates and move prospects to a close.
- Professional Representation: Maintain a clean-cut, highly professional presentation while consulting with homeowners face-to-face.
Training & Commission Structure
- Paid Training: A structured 6-week ramp-up phase ensuring you know our exact pricing tools and estimation software before transitioning fully.
- Company-Generated Leads: 6% to 7.5% commission on contracts closed from inbound company marketing.
- Self-Generated Leads: 10% to 12% commission on contracts closed from outbound neighborhood networking and door-to-door tracking.
Candidate Requirements
- High Accountability: Comfortable working as an independent 1099 contractor where your income directly reflects your work ethic.
- Strong Communication: Natural ability to build immediate rapport, actively listen, and comfortably navigate price objections.
- Coachability: Willingness to strictly adhere to our company's pricing multipliers and brand rules rather than cutting corners to close a deal.
- Reliable Transportation: Must possess a valid driver's license and a dependable personal vehicle to drive to local properties daily.
