Structural Drafter Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- This position is for structural drafters and designers.
- Perform drafting and project layout/setup for a variety of different construction project types, including residential, commercial, and industrial construction.
- Assist with preparation of construction documents with Revit.
- Assist with construction administration as required.
- Perform site visits for projects as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent with a focus on CAD and/or construction.
- Working knowledge of Revit and Bluebeam Revu
- Experience with wood construction
Salary Range & Benefits
- $35k - $55k

- 3 weeks PTO, 1 week sick time, & 8 company paid holidays
- SEP Retirement plan contributions with no vesting period. Recent company contributions have been in the range of 15% - 25% of annual salary + bonus.
Ideal Qualifications (Not Required)
- Knowledge of general IRC drafting provisions.
- Understanding of common light-frame wood construction details.
