Overview
German Motors is looking for a dependable, efficient technicians with factory/dealer experience working on European vehicles (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW, Porsche) to handle a mix of routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics. This full-time, Monday–Friday role includes routine services like brakes, suspension, fluid leaks, spark plugs, as well as diagnostics using a range of factory diagnostic tools (Xentry/ODIS/PIWIS/ISTA/VCDS). Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections and accurate diagnostics to determine repairs or services required.
- Perform automotive maintenance, service, and repairs
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during repair processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with other team members regarding repair needs, timelines, and recommendations.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and service & repair techniques.
Skills
- Elementary - expert level proficiency (role & wage dependent) in automotive diagnostics.
- Proficiency with service and repair techniques.
- Experience with German vehicles is strongly preferred. (Dealership/factory experience strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of automotive service procedures and standards.
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
