Essential Job Duties
- Provide oversight, direction, and prioritization for LRS’ human resource activities, ensuring effective execution of day-to-day operations by HR team members while aligning all activities with organizational goals.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and effectiveness of human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, leave administration, employee relations, performance management, recognition, and development initiatives.
- Serve as a strategic partner to leadership, advising on workforce planning, organizational design, employee relations, and performance management to support business objectives and growth.
- Lead the evaluation and continuous improvement of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with company strategy.
- Provide strategic oversight and guidance for talent acquisition and onboarding processes, ensuring a consistent, efficient, and high-quality candidate and new hire experience.
- Own and enhance performance management and employee development frameworks, leveraging data and insights to drive employee growth, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
- Serve as a senior advisor on employee relations matters, guiding managers through performance issues, conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions in a compliant and thoughtful manner.
- Oversee employee engagement strategies, including surveys and assessment tools, translating insights into actionable initiatives that strengthen culture, inclusion, and retention.
- Provide strategic direction for employee engagement programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company values and an exceptional employee experience.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of employee records, HR processes, and documentation through appropriate oversight and process governance.
- Oversee multi-state payroll operations and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective coordination with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Maintain deep knowledge of HR trends, employment law, and regulatory changes, translating insights into policies, programs, and recommendations that mitigate risk and strengthen the organization.
- Lead the optimization and governance of HR systems (HRIS/HRMS), ensuring systems effectively support operational efficiency, reporting capabilities, and the employee experience.
- Deliver workforce insights through data, reporting, and analytics to inform executive decision-making and support long-term people strategies.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, ensuring that policies, practices, and programs are regularly reviewed and updated.
- Partner with leadership to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture that supports employee well-being and organizational success.
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives and special projects that support broader organizational priorities.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of HR experience in administering HR systems, policy development, payroll, compensation analysis, performance management, talent acquisition, compliance, and employee relations.
- Previous experience in leading workforce and people strategies in an operationally diverse organization.
- Knowledgeable of researching and understanding wage and hour laws across the US given the nuances state to state, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, DOL, OSHA, HIPAA, EEOC, COBRA and other labor and employment laws.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or a related field.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.
- Experience in the retirement plan industry.

- The person in this position occasionally needs to move about inside a home office environment to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a printer.
