Affordable Air and Heating is a family-owned residential HVAC company serving the Antelope Valley and Santa Clarita Valley. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Journeyman Service Technician to join our growing team.

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and air conditioning systems
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and control issues
- Communicate findings and repair options clearly with homeowners
- Perform system maintenance and safety inspections
- Identify opportunities for indoor air quality and system improvement solutions
- Complete accurate service documentation using mobile software
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and work environment
- Deliver a high level of customer service on every call
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years residential HVAC service experience preferred
- EPA Certification required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with heat pumps, gas furnaces, ductless systems, and airflow diagnostics preferred
- Ability to use tablets and mobile field software
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
