MVM Contracting is seeking a dependable, motivated IT / Low Voltage Technician to join our growing Harold's Specialty Systems division. If you enjoy technology, problem solving, and working with your hands, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Install and service security camera systems (IP & CCTV)
- Install door access and access control systems
- Install and troubleshoot fire and burglar alarm systems
- Install and terminate low voltage cabling
- Install and configure network equipment and structured cabling
- Troubleshoot communication and security systems
- Provide excellent customer service while working in residential and commercial environments
Qualifications
- Experience with low voltage systems, networking, security, or IT preferred
- Experience with IP cameras, access control, alarms, or structured cabling is a plus
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow installation plans
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift equipment and work on ladders when needed
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
