American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a MedSurg/Tele position in a Level 1 Trauma academic medical center, requiring at least 2 years of MedSurg experience and a NC or compact RN license.

Orientation includes NEO and 2 shifts on the unit

Minimum 12 months core MedSurg/Tele experience within the last year

At least 1 professional reference dated within the year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Not eligible if previously separated from an AHSE facility in a permanent role within the last year

>Surg/Tele RN role coordinating with 1 CNA per pod, a shared charge nurse for both areas, and 24/7 support from phlebotomy, RT, hospitalists, and residents
-
Provide direct patient care including trach care, chest tube management, wound care, and administration of non-titrating drips such as Heparin, Lasix, and Protonix

Preferred experience with Cardizem and Amiodarone drips, though training is available if needed

Royal blue scrub color required
