Rapid Industries is looking for a
Senior Accountant to join their team.
This position will report directly to the Senior Controller. In this role you will be responsible for full-cycle accounting, which requires the ability to juggle several organizational tasks at once. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of general ledger, AP/AR assistance, various reconciliations, month-end reporting, job costing, etc. This role will support our accounting team.
Responsibilities:

Work with Senior Controller to prepare/provide year-end CPA requests

Month end close w/ Journal entries
-
Inter-company reconciliations
-
Balance Sheet reconciliations
-
Assist Senior Controller on progress of jobs: actual vs. estimated cost, percentage of completion, hours spent vs. hours estimated

Obtaining a comprehensive knowledge of 2 ERP systems including helping improve processes

Credit checks
- 1099s
-
Sales and Use Tax Reporting

Back up for Payroll Processing
-
Benefits reconciliations
-
Perform various other accounting related tasks and special projects

Communicate with project managers/engineers on progress of jobs: actual vs. estimated cost, percentage of completion, hours spent vs. hours estimated.
Requirements:

3-5 years of Accounting experience in Manufacturing Industry required

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required

Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with a team

Strong organizational skills

Outstanding skills in analyzing financial data and promptly generating accurate reports.

Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical.

This is a full-time, in-office position. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available.
