Senior Accountant – International CPA Firm (French Required) | Miami or Los Angeles

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Miami or Los Angeles.
French and English fluency is mandatory. This position serves our French-speaking client base. Applications from candidates who are not fluent in both languages will not be considered.
Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years of recent experience in a U.S. CPA firm (public accounting). Candidates with only corporate accounting, bookkeeping, or private industry experience will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of domestic and international clients.
- Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements.
- Prepare individual, partnership, S Corporation, and C Corporation tax returns.
- Prepare payroll and sales tax filings.
- Perform account reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
- Communicate directly with clients and provide accounting and tax support.
- Review work prepared by junior staff when appropriate.
- Work closely with managers and partners on multiple client engagements.
- Meet deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of quality and client service.
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum three (3) years of recent experience in a CPA firm (public accounting). France or USA
- Experience preparing business and individual tax returns.
- Experience preparing financial statements.
- Experience using UltraTax.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken).
Preferred
- CPA license or CPA candidate.
- Experience working with international clients.
- Interest in technology, automation, and AI-powered accounting solutions.
