Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapist license in New Jersey (or eligibility)
- Prior experience with school-based OT services strongly preferred
- Background in home health and teletherapy OT interventions desirable
- Expertise in evaluating and addressing fine and gross motor skill development
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy strategies
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and create tailored therapy plans
- Implement evidence-based interventions to support academic and functional success
- Provide services both in-person within schools and remotely via teletherapy as needed
- Deliver home health OT visits when required, maintaining high standards of care
- Consult with teachers, families, and other multidisciplinary team members
- Track progress, adjust goals, and maintain compliance with required documentation
