Job Summary
Pick up and deliver mail, packages, and other items between locations, traveling on foot and using company transportation.
Specific Responsibilities

Travel using a company vehicle to deliver letters, packages, and other correspondence to clients.

Handle and process incoming and outgoing mail, including documents, letters, packages, and boxes.

Weigh packages or letters to determine the necessary shipping method.

Record the dates and times of incoming and outgoing mail.

Receive messages or materials to be delivered, as well as recipient information such as names, addresses, phone numbers, and delivery instructions, communicated by phone or in person.

Verify that items have the correct address and are in suitable condition for processing.

Deliver and pick up mail from offices, and work with mail clerks and building staff to ensure timely mail delivery.

Operate various carts and trolleys in aisles, elevators, and other confined spaces.

Load vehicles with the specified products, ensuring they are loaded correctly and taking necessary precautions.

Use appropriate devices to maintain delivery and/or tracking records.

Operate computers and other equipment to direct items according to established routing plans.

Perform the responsibilities described above or as the company's needs evolve.
Skills and Knowledge

Experience handling correspondence, office work, etc., preferred.

Physical ability and stamina for manual labor.

Physical ability to walk, sit, squat, bend, use hand tools, and perform moderate lifting (less than 50 lbs).

Ability to drive a company vehicle and adapt to delivery routes.

Formal Requirements
