Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Super 10s and Super Tags Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in paving and grinding, particularly with dump trucks, and possess a strong understanding of construction site operations. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting materials to and from job sites.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as soil, gravel, and asphalt to construction sites.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to determine material delivery schedules and routes.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, materials transported, and delivery locations.
- Perform basic maintenance on the truck, including cleaning and minor repairs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on-site.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
- Proven 1 year experience operating dump trucks and other heavy equipment in a construction environment.
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting basic vehicle issues is preferred.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is a plus.
- Ability to operate water trucks for dust control on construction sites is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and site supervisors.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials when necessary.
