Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Physical Therapist, you will help patients across all age ranges (neonatal to geriatric) receive comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and individualized treatment plans so they can regain functional independence and achieve their rehabilitation potential.
Every day you will appropriately assess patients of varying diagnoses and disorders, establish functional goals in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans. You will be expected to utilize evidenced-based practice, provide patient/caregiver education, complete case management activities, coordinate treatment with external sources, develop and implement discharge plans, and supervise assistants, aides, and volunteers.
To be successful in this role you must possess a thorough knowledge of physical therapy techniques and diagnostic tests, be able to complete comprehensive evaluations with justification for medical necessity, perform heavy physical tasks, demonstrate flexibility in work routine, manage an equitable caseload, and have strong knowledge of computer systems for electronic documentation.
