We are seeking a dependable, compassionate Independent Living Skills (ILS) support staff to work one-on-one with an adult male in Turlock, CA. This role focuses on promoting independence, confidence, and daily life skills in a supportive and respectful environment.
Position Details
- Part-time hours Fridays 8 hour shift
- Flexible scheduling (ideal as a second job)
- One-on-one support in the client’s home and community
- Location: Sutter Creek, CA
Responsibilities
- Support independent living skills such as:
- Daily routines and organization
- Community outings and errands
- Budgeting, planning, and goal support
- Social and communication skill development
- Encourage independence while providing guidance and structure
- Maintain professionalism, reliability, and clear communication
Ideal Candidate
- Patient, reliable, and kind
- Comfortable working independently
- Experience in caregiving, ILS, SLS, or related fields is a plus (but not required)
- Must pass background clearance and TB test
- Reliable transportation NEEDED
