We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure across multiple environments. The ideal candidate is passionate about networking, security, and continuous improvement, with experience supporting campus, branch, wireless, firewall, and data center networks. This position will work closely with server, security, cloud, and application teams to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing network services.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and data center networks.
Configure, and support firewalls, switches, site-to-site VPNs, and wireless infrastructure.
Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve performance, latency, congestion, and connectivity issues.
Support VLANs, trunking, spanning tree, link aggregation (LACP), MLAG, and high availability technologies.
Manage firewall policies, NAT, VPN connectivity, and network segmentation.
Support enterprise wireless deployments and troubleshoot wireless performance issues.
Maintain network monitoring and alerting platforms such as PRTG, Zabbix, or similar solutions.
Perform firmware upgrades, hardware replacements, and lifecycle management.
Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, IP address management, and configuration standards.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives.
Collaborate with server, virtualization, application, and security teams on infrastructure projects.
Participate in an on-call rotation as required.
Qualifications:
CCNA, Security+ preferred
3–7 years of enterprise networking experience.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, IPv4 addressing, subnetting, routing, switching, and advanced network troubleshooting.
Experience configuring and supporting routing technologies, including static routing, BGP, and EIGRP.
Knowledge of core network services and technologies, including DHCP, DNS, VRFs, and site-to-site and remote access VPNs.
Experience with modern data center networking concepts, including VLAN design and segmentation, leaf-spine architectures, MLAG, EtherChannel/LACP, and high-availability network designs.
Experience with network monitoring and packet analysis tools.
Experience with SD-WAN technologies
Knowledge of Cisco, Arista terminology and command line a plus
Experience in working within a Desktop Support environment is a plus
Linux terminology and command knowledge, network automation is a plus
Experience in using a "ticketing" system to manage workload is preferred.
