We're looking for an experienced Medical Billing Specialist who enjoys solving problems, staying organized, and helping ensure providers and families receive the support they need.

What You'll Do
As our Billing Specialist, you'll work closely with our leadership and billing team to keep our billing systems accurate, compliant, and running efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing, reviewing, and submitting insurance claims
- Managing medical billing and collections
- Verifying insurance eligibility
- Reviewing EOBs and payment postings
- Conducting monthly billing audits
- Maintaining funding source and payer information
- Updating insurance portals and provider directories
- Following up with insurance companies and families regarding billing questions
- Supporting insurance audits and reimbursement activities
- Reviewing contracts and funding requirements
- Completing additional billing projects as assigned
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in medical billing (required)
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable communicating with insurance companies, families, and teammates
- Able to prioritize work and consistently meet deadlines
- A proactive problem solver who follows issues through to resolution
- Comfortable learning new software and technology
- Professional, dependable, and accountable
Bonus Points If You Have:
- ABA or behavioral health billing experience
- Experience with Medicaid and commercial insurance
- Experience using CentralReach or similar billing software
Schedule
- Up to 15 hours per week
- Flexible schedule during Monday through Friday business hours
- Must be available to work within normal business hours for collaboration and communication
- Work is performed remotely from your home office
- Must remain available on Microsoft Teams during scheduled work hours and participate in video meetings as needed

Minimum Qualifications
- Must currently reside in Idaho, Oregon, or Washington
- Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience
- Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy
- Reliable internet connection and dedicated home workspace
