Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, ordering, and control to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Manage store operations by implementing effective merchandising, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Supervise daily shift activities, ensuring smooth cashiering, POS system operation, and accurate cash handling procedures.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to enhance their skills in customer service, product knowledge, and operational tasks.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, bookkeeping standards, payroll processing, and store policies.
- Utilize management skills to monitor sales performance, control budgets, and optimize operational efficiency.

- Proven management experience within the retail industry with a focus on grocery store operations.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills for team supervision and managerial communication.
- Expertise in inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and merchandising techniques.
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate financial transactions.
- Skilled in employee orientation, training & development, interviewing candidates, and supervising staff effectively.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Exceptional organizational skills with time management capabilities to handle shift management and operational oversight.
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques, marketing strategies, and wireless sales is advantageous.
