Scale operator & Customer Service
REPORTS TO: Location Manager/CFO
DEPARTMENT: Accounting
EEO Classification: Administrative Support worker
Primary Purpose: Provide outstanding customer service that will optimize the coops market share and improve the coops efficiency.
General Description: Operate the scale, grade grain and provide other customer services as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Ensure safety compliance, through work space inspections, near miss and unsafe condition reporting and direct communication with location manager in regards to safety.

Follow all applicable State and Federal DOT Rules and Regulations.

Read, understand and follow all Ray-Carroll Coop policies and procedures.
-
Comply with all Company, State and Federal Rules, Regulations and policies.
-
Operate all equipment & vehicles according to Ray-Carroll Coop policies and procedures along with local, state and federal laws.
-
Read, understand and follow company employee policies.
-
Perform billing of Ray-Carroll Products.
-
Know the prepay procedures, transfers and purchase orders and billing procedures.
-
Maintain inventory control of products.
-
Understand inventory and measurement procedures.
-
Know Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers, Inc. product operations.
-
Perform minor office housekeeping as needed.
-
Operate Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers, Inc. computer system.
-
Perform grain probing and grading procedures and truck scaling procedures (if applicable).
-
Counter sales of products offered by Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers, Inc.
-
Talk with Ray-Carroll Coop customers, (phone or in person) about Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers, Inc. products.
-
Answer telephone and assist customer with billing and statement questions.
-
Assist location manager with maintaining grain, petroleum, feed and agronomy records.
-
Clean and maintain displays, counter and public areas.
OTHER DUTIES:

Able to build morale and group commitments to achieve goals and objectives.

Exhibit sound and accurate judgment.
-
Project a positive attitude to customers and employees at all times.
-
Provide courteous customer service.
-
Report even minor injuries using the employee injury report form.
-
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
