Work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, ensuring students receive consistent and comprehensive support in a collaborative educational environment.
What you’ll bring:
- Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in a school setting, serving children and adolescents
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to students with mild to severe disabilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Organizational skills and flexibility in working across various grade levels
What you’ll do:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students in elementary, middle, and high school
- Assess, diagnose, and document communication disorders to build effective treatment plans
- Engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
- Work alongside educators, special education staff, and families to foster student progress
- Maintain clear, accurate records in accordance with district and compliance standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and ongoing professional development
