Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, Service Writer, or Customer Service Representative (automotive industry preferred) Strong knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance, and repair processes Ability to clearly explain recommended services, repairs, and estimates to customers Experience creating and managing repair orders (ROs), estimates, and invoices Proficiency with shop management software (Shop-Ware, Tekmetric, Mitchell, Alldata, CDK, etc.) Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written Strong sales skills with the ability to ethically upsell maintenance and repair services Ability to manage multiple customers and vehicles simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills Ability to work closely with technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics, efficient workflow, and quality repairs Professional appearance and demeanor Reliable, punctual, and dependable Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
