Responsibilities
- Lead the overall management of hospital operations, including medical records, appointment scheduling, and client communications to ensure smooth daily workflows.
- Oversee fiscal management activities such as budgeting, financial reporting, billing processes, and expense control .
- Supervise clinical support staff and veterinary technicians, providing guidance on medical administrative support, nursing procedures, and acute care protocols.
- Manage human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare standards such as AAHA accreditation requirements and utilization management protocols for optimal patient care.
- Maintain proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and EMR systems to accurately document medical records and facilitate efficient clinic operations.
- Coordinate clinic activities related to veterinary medical management, dental procedures, critical care cases, and managed care programs to deliver comprehensive animal healthcare services.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical office management within a veterinary or healthcare setting; clinic experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of fiscal management including budgeting, financial management practices, and revenue cycle processes.
- Familiarity with veterinary practice management software such as Cornerstone.

Pay: $52,065.25 - $62,702.24 per year
