South East Mowing, LLC is hiring experienced Tractor Operators with the ability to safely operate mowing tractors and implements in a variety of terrains.
What You Will Be Doing:

Operate a field type tractor and attached or towed mower or cutter bar for right of way mowing.

Maneuver tractor/equipment along side highway traffic and in confined areas such as between shrubs, trees, along fences, and curbs.

Transport materials and equipment.

Spend extended hours mowing in tractors.
-
Operate under varied conditions, such as heat, rain, and in areas where trees and shrubs present operational hazards.

Adjust equipment for job requirements such as setting the height of mower blades.

Operate a weed eater.
-
Perform adjustments and minor maintenance on equipment operated.

Utilize basic hand tools when needed.

Travel to a variety of work sites for extended periods of time (up to 2 weeks).

Any and all duties as assigned.
What You Bring:

Experience operating a field-type tractor and related equipment.

Ability to adapt to dynamic work schedules and flexible shifts, including up to two weeks on a job site.

Strong problem solving skills, good work habits, high level of self motivation and a desire to perform to top ability.

Effective communication, cooperation and collaboration with crew members, foreman, and managers.

Evidence of being observant, detail oriented, and be a willing participant in a team atmosphere.

Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate heavy equipment are required.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment:

Stoop, squat, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and work in prone position.

Lift, carry, push and pull up to fifty (50) pounds.

Assist in lifting up to one hundred (100) pounds.

Work in both inside and outside conditions and be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, and gases from running engines and motor.

Long periods of sitting and exposure to weather.
