Support the preparation of estimates, design options, and construction specifications .
Provide guidance, oversight, and quality assurance reviews of contractors' designs, estimates, and construction packages.

Understand and participate in the planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance processes.
Collaborate with internal departments (design, construction, maintenance) to ensure coordinated efforts.
Follow established design practices, industry standards, and Southern Company work processes .
Assist in the development and enhancement of design standards and criteria .
Support construction and maintenance teams during operations by providing technical input.
Estimate materials and transmit construction packages , including specifications and drawings.
