Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant food service team. As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, expert menu knowledge, and efficient operations. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure smooth transactions
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, preparation, and serving processes
- Clear tables efficiently, bus tables, and assist with basic food preparation or kitchen support as needed
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining settings preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest engagement
- Experience with reservation management tools like OpenTable is a plus
- Demonstrated skills in customer service, guest relations, and effective communication within diverse teams
