Dietary Aide
Job Summary:
Vered Healthcare Group is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team in Dania Beach, Florida. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional food service to our residents while ensuring a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities:
Assist with the service and delivery of food trays to designated areas
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes
Prepare and deliver snacks as directed
Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietitian/Director of Food Services
Treat all residents with dignity and respect, promoting and protecting their rights
Maintain confidentiality of protected health information
Participate in all life safety and emergency drills and trainings
Report work-related injuries and illnesses immediately to supervisor
Physical Requirements:
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Must be a supportive team member, contribute to, and be an example of teamwork
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
Must have patience, tact, and willingness to deal with difficult residents, family, and staff
Must not pose a threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday
Meet general health requirements according to facility policy
