Recommend and customize policies — Match clients with appropriate commercial policies (e.g., liability, workers' comp, property, cyber) and tailor terms to fit their budget and risk profile.
Place coverage and evaluate markets — Compare insurance carriers, negotiate terms, and secure the best available coverage for the client.
Build and maintain client relationships — Network, prospect, and maintain a book of business through ongoing communication and service.
Assist with underwriting — Help clients gather required documents (e.g., loss runs) and prepare submissions for insurance carriers.
Manage renewals proactively — Review policies ahead of renewal, reassess coverage needs, and explore alternative markets when necessary.
Support clients with claims — Provide guidance during the claims process and help adjust coverage as business needs evolve.
Stay current on industry trends — Monitor new insurance products, regulations, and market shifts to better advise clients.

Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License

3. Market Placement & Carrier Negotiation
Prepare underwriting submissions
Compare quotes across carriers and negotiate pricing/terms
Present proposals with clear coverage comparisons
4. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Prospect and generate new commercial leads
Conduct discovery calls and in‑person business reviews
Maintain long‑term relationships through consistent follow‑up and service
5. Renewal Management
Review expiring policies for gaps or changes in exposure
