Position: Temporary Seasonal Worker
Department Precinct 1 - Sherman
Minimum Salary: $19.00 Hourly
Duties Work involves a variety of precinct maintenance and support
work. May include traffic direction, road repair assistance,
mowing and trimming grass and general precinct
maintenance duties as directed by Foreman.
Seasonal: April - October
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Understand and follow oral and
written instructions.
Requirements: Experience operating tractor with mowing attachments.
Knowledge of servicing equipment and some moderate to
heavy lifting (20 –50 lbs). Knowledge and experience in the
operation of heavy equipment and a CDL are a plus. Must
possess a valid driver’s license and pass pre-employment
drug screen and background check.
