Shipping & Crating Associate
Full-time, year-round position in a manufacturing shop and warehouse. You'll be responsible for pulling everything an order calls for, verifying it against the drawings, protecting and packing it, and building the skid or crate it ships in.
Orders are large and multi-component. A single shipment may involve several products made up of dozens of parts and accessories, all of which have to be accounted for, positioned on the pallet as the drawing shows, and packed so nothing shifts or goes missing in transit. This is the last checkpoint before a shipment leaves the building.
What you'll do
· Work from order paperwork and drawings to pull all products, parts, and components for each shipment
· Verify quantities, sizes, configurations, and finishes against the order before anything gets packed
· Catch missing, incorrect, or damaged items and flag them before the order ships
· Wrap and protect items individually; position and secure everything on the pallet as the drawing specifies
· Build wooden skids, crates, blocking, and internal bracing
· Band, label, and stage completed loads
· Operate a forklift and pallet jack; assist with loading and unloading
· Keep materials stocked and the work area clean and organized
What we're looking for

· Able to work from drawings, measurements, and detailed order paperwork
· Accurate with a tape measure
· Able to keep many parts and components organized across a full order
· Comfortable with saws, drills, impact drivers, nail guns, staplers, and banding tools
· Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, shipping, or woodworking
· Forklift experience a plus
· Able to lift and carry 50 lbs regularly, with team lifts and equipment for larger items
· On your feet, bending and lifting, throughout the day
· Dependable, and able to run an order start to finish without someone standing over you
· Reliable transportation
Details
· Monday through Friday, day shift
· $22–24 per hour depending on experience
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
