Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing products for shipment, ensuring that all items are packed securely and accurately. You will play a crucial part in maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency in the shipping process.
Responsibilities
- Carefully pack products according to company standards to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information and tracking numbers.
- Inspect items for quality assurance before packing.
- Maintain an organized workspace to ensure efficient packing operations.
- Assist in inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping goals and deadlines.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a packing or shipping role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with packaging materials and techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds safely.
- Basic computer skills for tracking shipments and managing inventory records are beneficial.
