Description:
Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions. May collect and analyze data and develop decision support software, services, or products. May develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation.
Experience:
Experience in operations research which includes assisting in the coordination and management of large organizations that require the effective use of money, materials, equipment, and people by applying analytical methods from mathematics, science and engineering. Demonstrated skills in gathering information and applying techniques involving the construction of mathematical models that attempt to describe the system being studied. Demonstrated creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems in financial, administrative and program management. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, or mathematics required. Two (2) years of experience in organizing small meetings and tracking technical and financial milestones.
Start Date is contingent upon contract award and start: 8/3/2026
