Role Summary
Serves as the senior technical authority for the entire ARCHIBUS program. This role provides strategic technical leadership for system architecture, integrations, modernization, O&M, and enterprise expansion. The position ensures ARCHIBUS environment remains secure, scalable, and fully integrated with other enterprise systems (e.g., Sunflower-like asset management and DMAS-like financial systems).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical solution design, system architecture, and roadmap development for ARCHIBUS enhancements and integrations.
- Oversee development of real-time/near-real-time integrations using APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Direct software upgrades, infrastructure support, custom development, and configuration of all 16+ ARCHIBUS modules.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies, ICAM/SSO integration, and hosting environment requirements.
- Provide senior-level technical oversight during implementation of new modules (Enterprise Move Management, Condition Assessment, Portfolio Management, etc.).
- Support data migration, workflow optimization, mobile framework, and Smart Client/AutoCAD integration.
- Conduct technical risk assessments and provide recommendations to executive leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s or advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in enterprise systems engineering and COTS implementation.
- At least 10 years of direct, hands-on ARCHIBUS experience in federal government environments (on-premise and cloud).
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale IWMS / facilities management system deployments.
- Eligible for favorable federal adjudication and PIV/CAC credentials.
Key Skills
- Deep expertise in ARCHIBUS platform architecture, customization, and integrations.
- Proficiency with modern integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, ETL).
- Strong knowledge of federal security standards (NIST, IT Security Policy).
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and enterprise asset/financial system interfaces.
