Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated, dependable and energetic applicants to join our housekeeping team at the Courtyard by Marriott North Charleston Airport/Coliseum. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms to brand standards, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience for all guests. Your efficiency, cleanliness, and positive attitude will directly impact guest satisfaction.
General responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and/or resetting guest rooms according to Marriott brand standards.
- Replacing linens and amenities and restock supplies.
- Reporting maintenance issues or room damage to supervisors.
- Maintaining cleanliness of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
- Providing prompt and courteous service to guests as needed.
- Following all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness guidelines.

A successful Housekeeper will have one or more years of housekeeping experience (hotel or otherwise), a focus on attention to detail, and a sense of pride in their work and their team. Housekeeping is offered 7 days a week, so weekend availability is a must.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous hotel or housekeeping experience preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and hotel housekeeping standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
- Reliable, efficient, and detail-oriented work ethic
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required
