Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, oral care, and dressing.

Assist with toileting, incontinence care, and maintaining personal cleanliness.

Assist with ambulation, transfers, positioning, and mobility.

Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
-
Perform light housekeeping related to client care, including laundry, changing linens, and maintaining a safe environment.

Provide companionship and emotional support.
-
Remind clients to take medications as directed (no medication administration unless authorized by state regulations).
-
Observe and report changes in the client's condition, behavior, or home environment to the supervising nurse.

Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.
-
Utilize Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) and agency documentation systems as required.
-
Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies.

Maintain professional boundaries and conduct at all times.
Qualifications
-
PCA Certificate, CNA License, Nursing Student status, or other qualifications meeting Virginia DMAS requirements.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous caregiving experience preferred.

Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Demands

Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and assisting clients with mobility.

Ability to work in various home environments.

Ability to travel to client homes throughout assigned service areas.
Work Schedule

Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN, and Weekend opportunities available.

Flexible scheduling based on client needs and employee availability.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.

Ability to pass a criminal background check and any required screenings.

Current CPR certification preferred.

Current TB screening and physical examination as required.
-
Ability to lift, transfer, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
