Job Description: Staff Nurse
OBJECTIVE:
The Staff Nurse provides patient centered care as part of a medical service operations team alongside with the Senior Director of Clinical Services, medical services staff, and patient support team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Be a committed Christian, dedicated to the sanctity of all human life.
2. Maintain a license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Virginia
3. Maintain current BLS certification
4. Be self-motivated, dependable, and responsible
5. Exhibit strong interpersonal, technological, and administrative skills
6. Be able to work a flexible work schedule, including some evenings
7. Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to protocols and standing orders
8. Proficiency with EMR, database, and software systems
9. Spanish speaking a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review the EMR to confirm completeness and medical follow-up patient process report
- Meet with the patient, provide medical services established by the center’s medical protocols, complete patient medical history and review medical documents with patient
- Provide ultrasounds and strictly adhere to the Medical Director’s standing orders
- Meet with the patient for pregnancy counseling, education and referrals
- Complete and record all required and appropriate client forms, follow up, EMR and other records
- Provide patient follow-up as appropriate
- Comply with state and professional licensing and continuing education requirements
- Demonstrate proficiency working with EMR and paperless procedures
